Upcoming Luxury Home Auctions (Part 2)

More and more high-priced homes are going up for auction as sellers can’t seem to find buyers. Here’s a sneak peak at five additional luxury homes that have been reduced in price and about to go on auction.

Brookville Chateau

It doesn’t get any better than living on the beach in Malibu, California. For only $22 million, you can be the new owner of a six-bedroom, ten-bathroom mansion located in one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The 10,480-square-foot home includes a movie theater, a pool and ocean views. But if you think $22 million is too high a price tag, you’re not alone. The home was originally listed for $65 million, and then lowered to $22 million for the auction on September 18; however the price was not met at auction, which means it is still up for grabs.

Arizona Mansion

If you’ve ever wanted to live in Paradise, now is your chance. This four-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion located in Paradise Valley, Arizona will be going up for auction on October 20. The 9,523-square-foot property features contemporary luxury living inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. It boasts a large open floor plan, enormous walk-in closet, a game room and stunning views of the desert. The listing price is $6 million.

Pikesville Beauty

Located in Pikesville, Maryland, this Colonial-style home boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large family room, a basement, and enormous garage. It was built in 1925 and features custom finishes and a guesthouse with a pool. The entire property sits on more than eight acres of land. It is going up for auction on October 26 with a listing price of $2.25 million.

John Brown’s Execution Site

Located in Charles Town, West Virginia, this five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bath mansion, called the Perkins House, is on auction right now with a listing price of $1.2 million. At the time of writing this article, the current bid is $950,000. The beautiful home occupies 7,937 square-feet and features four porches, a two-story barn, an outhouse and outdoor pool. The home was built in 1891 and most of the trappings and buildings are preserved originals.

Situated on Lake Travis, this four-bedroom, six-bath mansion in Lago Vista, Texas is on the market with a listing price of $2.399 million. Along with grand bedrooms and living areas, this waterfront property features custom-made cabinetry, a fitness room, a game room, Amburana wood and Indian Gold granite countertops and stunning hardwood floors.
