With a wife and four kids in tow, Mark Wahlberg is expanding his kingdom from a 9,000 square foot mansion to a place three times that size. The “Fighter” actor is moving from his Beverly Hills home, a mansion with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, to a custom mega mansion spread over a whopping 30,000 square feet. According to Yahoo, the actor and his model wife Rhea Durham purchased the six-acre plot of land several years ago and have just begun construction on the new home.

The family spent a reported $8.25 million on the new land, which means they are probably eager to move in to the new place. But selling the old one has proven difficult. The couple has tried to sell the home a few times with no success; in 2008 the couple listed the home on the market at nearly $16 million. Then last September, they put the home back on the market at just under $14 million. The property can now be yours for $12.995.

Originally purchased for $4.95 million, the actor’s Beverly Hills mansion has received multi-million dollar upgrades, including a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, a media room with a fireplace, a two-bedroom guest house, and a large pool area with a waterfall and cabanas. The property also features a two-story gym, a boxing ring, and an outdoor basketball court that can also be used to play tennis and racquetball.
